Webinar: Covid-19 impact on the macro economy and the commodity markets
The outbreak of Covid-19 has prompted significant macroeconomic changes, which has resulted in changes in several commodity groups. On Tuesday, the 8th of September at 14:00-15:00 CEST, our CEO, Søren Vammen, and Chief Analyst, Tom Bundgaard, will host a free webinar on the current and future macroeconomic situation in light of Covid-19 and its impact on commodity markets.
Similarly, to our approach in March, we would like to pause and evaluate what Covid-19 developments imply for the macroeconomy. In March, we forecasted a drastic slump followed by a rebound. We will therefore pick up on this and analyse the current situation: What will happen to the macroeconomy in the second half of 2020 and what about commodity prices? Will there be another slump or have governments and central banks been able to soften any potential blow?
Kairos Commmodities' CEO and Chief Analyst will present Kairos' view on:
> Scenarios for recession and recovery
> Macroeconomic forecast
> The price impact on commodity groups
> Planning for the possible scenarios
This free webinar will highlight how and why the scenarios for the price development during the rest of 2020 vary between the commodities and commodity groups.
Kairos Commodities provides subscribers with analyses and price forecasts for a range of commodities, including metals, steel, energy, plastics, grains and oilseeds, animal products, and others.
The webinar is scheduled to last 60 minutes, to ensure we provide enough time to provide an overview of expected developments and their underlying reasons, as well as introduce participants to Kairos Commodities' format of analysis. The webinar should be considered as ‘inspirational’ and food for thought in your own approach to the 2020 and beyond developments in global commodity markets.
